About the Role
As a Senior Finance Manager at Cohere, you will play a critical role in driving the company's financial planning and revenue strategy. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to inform key business decisions and ensure alignment between GTM targets and company-wide financial goals. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional who is looking to leverage their expertise to drive growth and scale in a high-growth environment.The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the annual and quarterly planning process for revenue, establishing the ROI framework for GTM investments, and performing rigorous post-mortem analyses on high-spend initiatives. You will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive success outcomes and develop robust financial models to forecast revenue, cost, profitability, and ROI of new and existing deals.

What You Will Do
- Lead the annual and quarterly planning process for revenue, ensuring alignment between GTM targets and company-wide financial goals
- Design sales quota allocation across regions and develop the perspective on capacity planning
- Establish the ROI framework for GTM investments and perform rigorous post-mortem analyses on high-spend initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive success outcomes and develop robust financial models
- Lead the financial evaluation and structuring of all major commercial deals and strategic partnerships
- Connect the dots between cross-functional stakeholders to drive success outcomes
- Develop robust financial models to forecast the revenue, cost, profitability, and ROI of new and existing deals
- Monitor and track the financial performance of commercial deals post-execution
- Ensure compliance with contractual financial obligations and contribute to annual partner performance reviews
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to inform key business decisions
What We Are Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in an FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance role within public and/or high-growth private companies
- Proven leadership experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective communication skills at all levels within the company
- Proven ability to deliver change, improve and streamline processes, drive efficiency, and influence stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments
- Strong finance acumen and leadership skills
- Experience with financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed financial decisions

- Certification in a relevant field, such as an MBA or CPA
