About the Role
The Senior Finance Manager, Corporate and G&A, will play a pivotal role in driving Sproutsocial's financial strategy and growth. As a key member of the finance team, you will lead company-wide financial planning processes, including annual operating planning, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts. Your expertise will inform executive consolidations, ensuring that the company's fiscal backbone is strong and resilient.The finance team at Sproutsocial is collaborative, driven, and committed to delivering exceptional results. As a senior finance manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including People, Legal, IT, and Corporate functions, to guide investment decisions and drive business outcomes. What You Will Do
- Lead company-wide financial planning processes, including annual operating planning, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts
- Serve as a strategic finance partner and trusted advisor to Sproutsocial's G&A leadership team
- Own and enhance corporate financial models, SaaS operating metrics, headcount planning frameworks, and executive reporting
- Drive forecast rigor and operational discipline through proactive variance analysis, scenario planning, and actionable insights
- Own total-company payroll, tax, benefits, and macro-level merit/promo guidance allocation assumptions
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Procurement, Total Rewards, and business leaders to optimize spend management, workforce planning, and financial visibility
- Build executive-ready narratives and presentations that translate complex financial and operational data into clear business recommendations
- Champion analytical excellence, scalable planning processes, and best practices across the broader FP&A organization
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance roles, ideally within high-growth SaaS organizations
- Strong expertise in corporate financial planning processes, including annual planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and executive consolidations
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of SaaS unit economics, headcount planning, and operating performance metrics
- Proven experience partnering directly with senior business leaders to influence investment decisions, drive accountability, and deliver actionable financial insights
- Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear recommendations for leadership audiences
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and providing mentorship and guidance to analysts and junior team members
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Adjust, with experience working with large datasets and complex financial models
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a remote-first organization, with a proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a virtual environment
- Familiarity with SaaS operating metrics, including customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and retention rates
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
- Certification in finance or accounting, such as CPA or CFA
