What You Will Do
- Develop dynamic financial models to evaluate business performance across margins and operating expenses
- Assist in building and maintaining department-level budgets and company-wide forecasts
- Prepare monthly reporting packages, analyzing variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and drive business performance
- Leverage financial systems, such as NetSuite, Google Sheets, and Excel, to ensure data accuracy and streamline processes
- Analyze drivers of business performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide financial support and guidance to cross-functional teams
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with an emphasis on global payroll and resource management
- Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets financial modeling skills, with familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to deliver change, improve and streamline processes, drive efficiency, and influence stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with rapid growth
Nice to Have
- MBA, CFA, or CPA certification
- Experience working with AI or tech companies, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis tools, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate virtually
