About the Role
As a Senior Front End Engineer at EventMobi, you will have the opportunity to shape the core front-end architecture behind a global event platform used by thousands of organizations. You will work on building modern web experiences, implementing offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, and scalable front-end architecture. EventMobi is an all-remote company, and this role is open to candidates in Brazil, with a focus on working in EST time zones. You will need to be able to work independently, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline.
What You Will Do
- Build modern web experiences using React and TypeScript
- Implement offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, and scalable front-end architecture
- Deliver experiences that work flawlessly across devices, even in low-connectivity environments
- Own features end-to-end, from ideation and design review to implementation, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring
- Architect for scale, designing abstractions that survive real-world complexity
- Navigate and improve large codebases and legacy systems
- Keep performance, maintainability, and developer experience in balance
- Mentor engineers and lead by example, advocating for clean code, strong testing, and disciplined engineering practices
- Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, raising the bar for the team
- Work smarter with AI, embracing AI-assisted development using tools like Claude, Codex, and other LLMs
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in front-end engineering, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance web applications
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Experience with offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, and scalable front-end architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think in systems, not just components
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team
- Experience with AI-assisted development, using tools like Claude, Codex, and other LLMs
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, testing, and continuous integration
Nice to Have
- Experience with Excel, or other data analysis tools
- Knowledge of UX design principles, with the ability to create user-centered designs
- Experience with DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
