About the Role
As a Senior Front End / Mobile Developer at Slash Digital, you will play a pivotal role in designing and engineering innovative, AI-powered mobile applications for a diverse range of clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include driving mobile development best practices, supporting cross-functional teams, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in mobile technology. This position requires a unique blend of technical leadership, innovative thinking, and collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Drive mobile development best practices, processes, and standards across the company
- Support solution architects, scrum masters, and development teams in delivering React Native, iOS, and Android mobile products to clients
- Stay updated on the latest in mobile development, including Native, Flutter, ReactNative, and performance optimization
- Contribute to the build and deployment of iOS and Android apps, ensuring familiarity with Android, iOS, and cross-platform design best practices
- Integrate plugins/modules from Android, iOS, and cross-platform technologies
- Develop a deep understanding of backend APIs integration for dynamic and sophisticated UI development
- Utilize GraphQL integration with the frontend for enhanced performance
- Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the refinement of the development process
- Engage with automated build & deployment tools like Fastlane or CI/CD platforms
- Connect to third-party APIs for payment gateways, mail services, and SMS platforms
- Contribute to monorepo development experiences, such as NX
- Participate in backend development using Java Spring Boot or NodeJS
- Apply advanced knowledge of TDD and automated testing frameworks like Jest and Detox
- Collaborate with QA teams for automated testing and quality assurance
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with ReactNative
- In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language (Dart, JavaScript for ReactNative, Java/Kotlin, or ObjC/Swift)
- Understanding of build and deployment of iOS and Android apps
- Familiarity with Android, iOS, and cross-platform design best practices
- Experience with integrating plugins/modules from Android, iOS, and cross-platform technologies
- Proficiency in backend development and agile concepts
- Good understanding of backend for APIs integration and GraphQL integration with the frontend
- Experience with automated build & deployment using Fastlane or CI/CD platforms
- Advanced knowledge of TDD and automated testing frameworks
- Positive attitude, independence, and a strong drive to succeed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with diverse teams and individuals
Nice to Have
- Experience with monorepo development (such as NX)
- Backend development experience (Java Spring Boot or NodeJS)
- Knowledge of NodeJS API development, Python, Serverless, CI/CD DevOps
- Experience with QA, automated testing, and working in a product or software agency
- Familiarity with working with clients and understanding different business models and applications
