About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Adobe, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional user interfaces that inspire creativity and drive innovation. You will be part of a talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers who are passionate about building world-class web applications. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining Adobe's flagship web app, using cutting-edge technologies such as React, Next.js, and GraphQL.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, designing and implementing scalable and efficient frontend architectures, and ensuring seamless integration with backend systems. You will also be expected to participate in code reviews, provide technical feedback, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for frontend engineering.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient frontend code for Adobe's web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for frontend components and systems
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback to ensure high-quality code
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for frontend engineering
  • Collaborate with designers to develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
  • Work with product managers to prioritize and deliver new features and functionalities
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for frontend code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a focus on React, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Strong understanding of frontend development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization
  • Experience with modern frontend build tools, such as Webpack and Babel
  • Familiarity with state management libraries, such as Redux or MobX
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client
  • Familiarity with Next.js and server-side rendering
  • Experience with Framer Motion and animation libraries
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors, such as Sass or Less
  • Experience with internationalization and localization
