About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at DEUNA, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of payments. DEUNA is a rapidly growing startup that is revolutionizing global commerce with its AI-powered orchestration and payments platform, ATHIA. The platform helps large enterprises boost approval rates, reduce costs, and unlock new revenue streams. With deep integrations across over 300 payment service providers and alternative payment methods, ATHIA simplifies global payments through a single integration and centralized reconciliation.The Senior Frontend Engineer role is part of a dynamic team distributed throughout Latin America, working on a high-impact solution that is changing the face of payments in the region. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and tools, and be part of a startup culture that values innovation, agility, and constant learning.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of DEUNA's payments platform, ensuring a seamless user experience and high-quality performance. You will work closely with the backend team to ensure that the frontend and backend are integrated seamlessly, and collaborate with the design team to create a user-friendly and intuitive interface.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain the frontend of DEUNA's payments platform
- Collaborate with the backend team to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend
- Work with the design team to create a user-friendly and intuitive interface
- Develop and maintain reusable UI components
- Ensure high-quality performance and scalability of the frontend
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with the frontend
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that the frontend meets the required standards
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code is maintainable, efficient, and follows best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in frontend engineering
- Participate in the development of the technical roadmap for the frontend
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less
- Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile-first development
- Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo Client
- Experience with server-side rendering
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
