Day-to-day responsibilities will include customizing SharePoint pages, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and web parts, as well as integrating SharePoint with other systems using APIs, connectors, Power Automate, or custom development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development and experience working with SharePoint, both Online and On-Premise. Given the remote nature of this position, the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple assignments across different projects and accounts is crucial.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premise solutions.
  • Build and customize SharePoint pages, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and web parts.
  • Support SharePoint integration with other systems using APIs, connectors, Power Automate, or custom development.
  • Handle full stack development tasks including backend logic, frontend interfaces, database work, and system integrations.
  • Support troubleshooting, bug fixing, performance improvement, and production support activities.
  • Assist in SharePoint migration activities, including content migration, permission mapping, testing, and post-migration support.
  • Work on multiple assignments across different projects and accounts based on business priority.
  • Prepare technical documentation, deployment notes, and handover details when required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and client-side stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.

What We Are Looking For

  • 4 to 7+ years of experience in SharePoint development, with a focus on both Online and On-Premise solutions.
  • Solid hands-on experience in full stack development.
  • Experience working remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to support multiple projects/accounts at the same time.
  • Good understanding of application support, troubleshooting, and change requests.
  • Experience in system integration and API-based development.
  • Practical experience in migration, enhancement, and production support activities.
  • Strong technical skills in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, and modern SharePoint customization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or Microsoft Migration Manager.
  • Experience with Nintex, K2, or similar workflow platforms.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, or Key Vault.
  • Experience supporting government or enterprise clients.
  • Understanding of ITIL support processes, incident handling, and change management.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation package (details to be discussed during the hiring process).

How to Stand Out

  • Ensure your portfolio highlights specific examples of SharePoint development and integration projects you've led or been a part of.
  • Practice explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms, as this will be crucial for communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the latest SharePoint features and how they can be leveraged to solve real-world problems.
  • Be prepared to discuss your experience with remote work tools and how you stay organized and productive in a remote setting.
  • Consider obtaining certifications in SharePoint or related technologies to stand out as a candidate.
  • Prepare to back your claims of expertise with concrete examples from your past experience, focusing on achievements rather than just responsibilities.
