Job Description
About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Empassion, you'll lead critical engineering initiatives in a remote-first environment. This is a unique chance to contribute to improving healthcare for advanced illness patients while working with a skilled engineering team.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain impactful full-stack features.
- Become an expert in our architecture: Vue.js frontend and Python Django APIs.
- Advocate for robust engineering practices and architecture.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus.
- Proficient in Python, specifically with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Solid experience in building scalable back-end web APIs.
- Strong understanding of DevOps fundamentals including CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
