About the Role

The Senior Global Event Marketing Manager role at Braze is a unique opportunity to lead the company's global events strategy, operations, and measurement. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for driving event production and strategy for Braze's flagship external events and tier 1 internal events. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to build the event measurement, strategy, and operations infrastructure that scales the entire event portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event marketing, with a proven track record of driving business results through events. You will be a strategic thinker, able to develop and execute comprehensive event plans that meet business objectives. Your expertise in event production, logistics, and measurement will be essential in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Drive event production and strategy for Braze's flagship external events and tier 1 internal events
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive three-year Executive Program strategy and roadmap
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build the event measurement, strategy, and operations infrastructure
  • Lead the development of global playbooks and templates for event operations, vendor management, and speaker sourcing
  • Manage strategy, logistics, and ROI for internal events, including Sales Kickoff and annual incentive trip
  • Work with the analytics team to define KPIs and build dashboards for event measurement and reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with event vendors, agencies, and partners
  • Own reporting on attendance, engagement, and pipeline metrics for external events
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, with a focus on global events and strategy
  • Strong background in event production, logistics, and measurement
  • Proven track record of driving business results through events
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with event management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Nice to Have

  • Experience with event measurement and reporting tools, such as Mixpanel or Amplitude
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or Pardot
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Certification in event marketing or a related field
