What You Will Do
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for international entities, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom
- Lead year-end reporting, external audits, and internal controls (SOX compliance where applicable)
- Manage best-in-class vendors like ADP Celergo, ActivPayroll, and Workday
- Ensure seamless funding across currencies
- Provide strategic oversight to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability
- Optimize processes and ensure operational maturity
- Serve as the trusted escalation point for complex employee matters
- Partner closely with HR, Benefits, and Finance to ensure smooth payroll cycles and accurate accounting
- Own everything from journal entries to accruals and variance analysis
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in global payroll management
- Expertise in compliance, financial reporting, and vendor management
- Strong understanding of international payroll regulations and laws
- Experience with payroll software, such as ADP Celergo, ActivPayroll, and Workday
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working in a remote-first company or similar environment
Nice to Have
- Certification in payroll management, such as CPP or FPC
