About the Role
The Senior Immigration Program Manager at DoorDash will be responsible for managing the company's high-volume US immigration program. This involves working closely with employees, managers, recruiters, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant processes. The role requires expertise in common US nonimmigrant visa categories, such as H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, and O-1, as well as experience managing large PERM and immigrant visa programs. As a key member of the Global Mobility & Immigration team, the Senior Immigration Program Manager will contribute to improving how the company tracks, reports, and scales immigration support across the business. This role offers the opportunity to own and drive the execution of the US immigration program, with potential for expansion into the wider Americas region over time. The Senior Immigration Program Manager will report into the Global Immigration Manager and will be part of a supportive and fast-paced global People team that values collaboration and innovative problem-solving.What You Will Do
- Manage day-to-day immigration cases, including work visas, green cards, and compliance tracking, in close partnership with employees, managers, recruiters, and vendors
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex immigration scenarios and provide clear guidance on immigration processes, policies, and timelines
- Support process improvements, data accuracy, and reporting across the immigration portfolio
- Contribute to scalable practices as the team grows, proactively identifying program gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Legal and Talent Acquisition, to ensure alignment and compliance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in the US immigration landscape and plan mitigation strategies
- Manage multiple cases at once with accuracy and care, and communicate clearly and collaboratively with employees and partners
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure high-quality service
- Collaborate with the Global Mobility & Immigration team to ensure seamless execution of immigration programs
What We Are Looking For
- At least 4-6 years of experience in US immigration, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Deep expertise in common US nonimmigrant visa categories, such as H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, and O-1
- Experience managing large PERM and immigrant visa programs
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest changes in the US immigration landscape
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with employees, managers, recruiters, and vendors
- Experience with case management systems or centralized vendor platforms to manage immigration cases efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple cases at once with accuracy and care
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to changing priorities
