About the Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer at Dropbox, you will be at the forefront of securing the company's digital ecosystem. You will be working alongside a diverse team of professionals dedicated to protecting Dropbox's products and users.The Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer will design, deploy, and operate security controls for Dropbox's AI and agentic infrastructure. This includes model gateways, inference services, vector stores, retrieval systems, and supporting cloud and Kubernetes platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of security principles, including least-privilege patterns and secure-execution.

You will also deploy, build, and/or operate security infrastructure solutions to ensure the integrity of Dropbox's digital ecosystem.
What You Will Do
- Design, deploy, and operate security controls for Dropbox's AI and agentic infrastructure
- Implement least-privilege and secure-execution patterns for AI agents
- Lead security implementation for AI tool and agent connectivity layers
- Deploy, build, and/or operate security infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
- Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies
- Participate in incident response and remediation efforts
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate security into the development lifecycle
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of security principles, including least-privilege patterns and secure-execution
- Experience with cloud-based security solutions, including AWS or Azure
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI and machine learning security
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with compliance frameworks, such as HIPAA or PCI-DSS
- Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls and VPNs
- Experience with cloud-based security platforms, such as Cloudflare
