About the Role
As a Senior Institutional Account Manager at Coinbase, you will be responsible for leading and scaling the company's most complex, multi-entity relationships across various segments, including banks, fintechs, asset managers, and corporates. Your day-to-day tasks will involve acting as a trusted advisor, delivering flawless service, and navigating the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets. You will be the ultimate point of accountability for the client experience and will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Operations, Legal, and Product.The role requires a deep understanding of the Coinbase Prime platform and the ability to drive adoption of custody, trading, staking, and stablecoin services. You will serve as the primary escalation point for complex inquiries and will be responsible for delivering a premium onboarding experience. Your expertise will be essential in orchestrating seamless coordination with internal stakeholders to uphold best-in-class service standards.
What You Will Do
- Lead and scale complex, multi-entity relationships across various segments
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering flawless service and navigating the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Coinbase Prime platform
- Drive adoption of custody, trading, staking, and stablecoin services
- Deliver a premium onboarding experience by managing operational integration
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex inquiries
- Partner with Sales to lead technical product demonstrations
- Serve as a vital feedback loop for Product and Engineering
- Translate complex client requirements into scalable features
- Mentor junior talent and institutionalize best practices to drive team-wide excellence
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to responsibly use generative AI tools
- Experience in account management, preferably in the crypto or finance industry
- Strong understanding of the Coinbase Prime platform and its services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Excel and other productivity tools
- Ability to work remotely and participate in in-person offsites
