About the Role
The Senior Instrumentation and Analytical Specialist role is a field-based remote position within the Abbott Diagnostics Division. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in automation, informatics, and professional services solutions, you will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing installed solutions for Abbott's automation customers. This role is crucial in providing technical insight and recommendations for value expansion opportunities, ensuring the renewal of contracts and driving business growth.The Technical Solution Design (TSD) team works closely with every Abbott Automation Customer to identify areas of improvement and contribute to operational efficiencies. As a member of this team, you will serve as an expert resource, utilizing advanced technical knowledge to perform optimization workflow assessments and enhance the end-user experience.

What You Will Do
- Serve as SME in automation, informatics, and professional services for diagnostic instruments and lab automation systems
- Lead technical product installations, configurations, and solution optimization
- Conduct solution assessments to optimize instrumentation, automation, and informatics performance
- Design and deliver optimization workshops within your area of expertise
- Develop and execute strategies for complex customers, such as strategic accounts and national/regional health systems
- Build and maintain key account relationships to drive retention and business growth
- Utilize Excel to analyze data and provide insights for business decisions
- Own the development and execution of training programs and tools for the TSD team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical differentiating sales positioning and strategy of Abbott solutions
