About the Role

The Senior iOS Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving the development and continuous improvement of MLabs' primary iOS application, collaborating closely with product and design teams to transform pixel-perfect designs into high-performance, deployed features. In this fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver top-tier products, leveraging their exceptional technical skills and dedication to user experience. The Senior iOS Engineer will be responsible for exploring Web3 technologies and integrating crypto wallet experiences directly into the iOS application, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. This role requires an engineer who is not only technically proficient but also passionate about delivering exceptional products that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the primary iOS application
  • Explore Web3 technologies and integrate crypto wallet experiences into the iOS application
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to develop and deploy responsive, high-fidelity interfaces
  • Maintain high standards for core application features, including analytics, translations, A/B testing, accessibility, memory optimization, and snapshot testing
  • Develop, debug, test, and deploy complex Swift projects independently
  • Work closely with the mobile engineering team to ensure the highest quality of code and adherence to best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in iOS and Web3 technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the application
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and easy onboarding of new team members

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven ability to craft exceptional iOS applications using Swift, Xcode, and Instruments
  • Demonstrated experience shipping applications to the App Store, with a strong understanding of App Store Review processes and guidelines
  • Solid grasp of state-of-the-art iOS architectures and agile development methodologies
  • Experience utilizing unit and snapshot testing to ensure clean, testable, and reliable code
  • Ability to develop, debug, test, and deploy complex Swift projects independently
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of experience building visually stunning iOS Swift applications
  • Exceptional eye for detail, with a pixel-perfect focus on UI/UX implementation
  • Experience with Web3 technologies and crypto wallet integrations
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or CircleCI
