About the Role
The Senior IT Business Analyst role at Medtronic is a critical position that plays a key part in the development and rollout of IT solutions, specifically ServiceMax (SMAX), to support repair management processes for medical equipment installed in hospitals. As a senior analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders to assess, design, and implement enhancements to the SMAX platform. Your expertise in Excel and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be invaluable in this role.The IT Business Analyst team at Medtronic is responsible for driving business growth through the effective use of technology. As a senior member of this team, you will be expected to lead business requirement discussions, gather and document business needs, and translate these into functional specifications and business process maps.

What You Will Do
- Lead business requirement discussions with stakeholders to identify and document business needs
- Gather, evaluate, and document business requirements and translate these into functional specifications and business process maps
- Participate in project and design reviews to ensure that solutions meet Medtronic's policies, principles, and standards
- Drive changes and enhancements through the change management process, including change coordination, communication with stakeholders, and performing functional unit tests
- Coordinate development and support activities with external partners
- Build and maintain the knowledge repository for SMAX related issues
- Provide 3rd level support for SMAX related issues, including analyzing and resolving software-related issues escalated by the support team
- Work on projects within an international, diverse, and challenging environment
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an IT business analyst role or a similar position
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communicative skills, especially in English
- Ability to explain technical concepts in clear verbiage to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with using SMAX designer & Service flow manager or willingness to specialize
- Experience with configuring Installed products, Work Orders, Service Board in SMAX or willingness to specialize
- Strong background in SFDC administration and Sales Force Administrator certification
- Experience with gathering, documenting, and challenging business requirements
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with Medtronic or in the healthcare technology sector
- Understanding of APEX code, Webmethods, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders in a global organization
