About the Role

The Senior IT PM – Finance role at Sequoia Connect is a critical position responsible for leading and managing IT projects focused on finance processes and systems. This includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for high-level finance technology investments. As a key member of the team, the Senior IT PM – Finance will coordinate change approvals and operate within strictly regulated and controlled environments, ensuring compliance with SOX/PCI regulations.

The role requires a deep understanding of finance processes, including budgeting and ROI analysis, as well as expertise in finance technology platforms, specifically Oracle EBS Financials/Procurement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing vendors and influencing senior stakeholders.

The Senior IT PM – Finance will report directly to executive leadership, providing financial impacts and project health updates. This role is fully remote, offering the opportunity to work with a global team and contribute to the company's mission to enable end-to-end digital transformation for global customers.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage IT projects focused on finance processes and systems
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for high-level finance technology investments
  • Coordinate change approvals and operate within strictly regulated and controlled environments (SOX/PCI)
  • Demonstrate expert vendor management and maintain accountability for project outcomes
  • Report financial impacts and project health directly to executive leadership
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven expertise in finance technology platforms, specifically Oracle EBS Financials/Procurement
  • Strong background in finance processes, including budgeting and ROI analysis
  • High level of comfort operating within compliance-driven environments (SOX/PCI considerations)
  • Advanced vendor management expertise and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in a remote environment and managing global teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Advanced oral English and native Spanish language skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience or exposure to SAP or Workday environments
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as blockchain or quantum computing
  • Certification in project management or a related field
