About the Role
The Senior Java Developer position at PradeepIT Consulting Services Pvt Ltd is a key role that involves accelerating your career by working with a globally recognized IT Consulting firm. As a senior developer, you will be part of a team that connects India's deeply vetted talent to global customers, including Fortune 500 companies and fast-growing startups. Your day-to-day work will involve development and code reviews, analysis, and work break-down, as well as status updates to customers during daily stand-ups.PradeepIT is headquartered in Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India, and has achieved significant success with 890+ clients in APAC, EMEA, and the USA. What You Will Do
- Develop and review code for Java-based applications
- Perform analysis and work break-down for tasks and mini-projects
- Estimate effort required for tasks and mini-projects
- Provide status updates to customers during daily stand-ups
- Collaborate with customers on clarifying task definitions and proposing solutions
- Work in a classic agile environment
- Develop parsers and converters
- Work with Marklogic (XML DB) or quickly familiarize yourself with its APIs
- Use XML tools and libraries, XPath, XQuery, XSL-T
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong experience with Java 7-8 SE, Spring MVC
- Proficiency with XML tools and libraries, XPath, XQuery, XSL-T
- Experience in developing parsers and converters
- Marklogic (XML DB) knowledge or readiness to quickly familiarize oneself with its APIs
- English B2 or higher for direct communication with clients' technical teams and project managers
- Personal traits: flexibility, ability to collaborate, and readiness to work in a classic agile environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce development
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies
- Familiarity with agile project management tools
- Certification in Java or related technologies
