Senior JavaScript Software Engineer - React (Contract, Brazil, Remote)

## About the Role As a Senior JavaScript Engineer at NearForm, you will be part of a talented team of engineers, designers, and data experts who build intelligent digital solutions. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing applications using JavaScript, with a deep understanding of React and its frameworks. You will work closely with clients to translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products, collaborating with distributed teams to leverage cutting-edge technologies and build secure, high-performance applications.

The role involves supporting component design, development, and maintenance, as well as taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team. You will also assist in defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building, and deployment. Additionally, you will design and implement data storage solutions, optimize performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability, and gather feedback from users and clients to build solutions that meet their needs.

## What You Will Do - Design and build applications using JavaScript, with a focus on React and its frameworks - Support component design, development, and maintenance - Take responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team - Assist in defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building, and deployment - Design and implement data storage solutions - Optimize performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability - Gather feedback from users and clients to build solutions that meet their needs - Assist with the analysis of client requirements - Work with and support Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery - Collaborate with client teams

## What We Are Looking For - Professional proficiency in English - Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level, with at least 6 years of commercial experience - Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment - Practical experience and knowledge of developing real-world solutions - Deep knowledge of the JavaScript language and its frameworks, including React - Deep understanding of versioning control tools, such as Git - Testing experience and familiarity with testing tools at all levels, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing - Practical and real-world experience working with databases and cloud environments - Experience with automation, CI, and CD - Experience building software collaboratively using pull requests and code reviews - Excellent communication and collaboration skills

## Nice to Have - Experience with headless CMS solutions, ideally Contentful - Knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks and libraries - Experience with containerization using Docker
