What You Will Do
- Liaise with fellow backend and frontend developers to ensure seamless project delivery
- Design and implement web applications using the Laravel framework
- Implement server-side logic to process front-end inputs
- Interact with SQL databases to ensure data consistency and security
- Identify and fix bugs within the code
- Ensure all inputs going to a database have been parameterized to prevent SQL injection
- Implement appropriate security standards to protect against potential threats
- Write unit test cases to verify code performance and prevent security breaches
- Create written documentation for different components of the application
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel developments and best practices
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of extensive experience with the PHP programming language
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Laravel framework
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically
- Understanding of the MVC pattern and its application in Laravel
- Understanding of SQL databases and their interaction with Laravel
- Good interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
- Located in the CET timezone (or +/- 3 hours) for easier team coordination
- Strong understanding of security standards and best practices
- Experience with unit testing and code reviews
