About the Role

Affirm is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their International Product Legal team, supporting the servicing and underwriting lifecycle for payments and BNPL loans. The ideal candidate will be flexible, engaged, and humble, with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel Business teams and stakeholders on consumer financial services laws and regulations
  • Support origination and servicing of loan and payment products
  • Provide strategic advice on consumer finance and protection laws
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in consumer lending and servicing
  • Draft terms and conditions, disclosures, and review copy

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related business, government, or fintech experience, preferably with a focus on Payments, Consumer Credit, Banking, or BNPL
  • Qualified lawyer in Australia
