About the Role
Affirm is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their International Product Legal team. The successful candidate will support the servicing and underwriting lifecycle for payments and BNPL loans, including underwriting, servicing, and collections.Responsibilities
- Counsel Affirm’s Business teams on relevant consumer financial services laws and regulations
- Support Affirm’s origination and servicing of loan and payment products
- Provide strategic advice regarding consumer finance and protection laws
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in consumer lending and servicing
- Draft terms and conditions, disclosures, and review copy
Requirements
- 6+ years of related business, government, or fintech experience, preferably with a focus on Payments, Consumer Credit, Banking, or BNPL
- Relevant education, qualified lawyer in Australia
