About the Role

The Senior Localization Technical Program Manager role at Mozilla is a critical position that oversees the localization of products and services across the globe. As a key member of the Localization Team, the Senior Localization Technical Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX, Content, and Engineering, to ensure that products are localization-ready from design through release. This involves driving localized product releases, defining testing and quality strategies, and coordinating with language service providers and external platforms to deliver localized content on time and at quality.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and scale localization initiatives to ensure sustainability and impact across products
  • Partner with UX, Content, and Engineering teams to ensure products are localization-ready from design through release
  • Drive localized product releases end-to-end, defining testing and quality strategies
  • Coordinate with language service providers and external platforms to deliver localized content on time and at quality
  • Make and communicate informed trade-offs to optimize time-to-delivery, quality, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with engineers and other localization program managers to design localization-ready features and improve tooling and workflows
  • Reduce risks associated with localization and ensure high-quality results at scale
  • Build strong relationships with internal clients and teammates to align on priorities and execution
  • Contribute to shaping the long-term direction of localization at Mozilla
