Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Manager of Account Management at Motive, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth and leading a team of commercial account managers. Your primary focus will be on managing and expanding existing commercial accounts, which have grown beyond the small to medium-sized business (SMB) stage but are not yet in the mid-market sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing nuanced account management strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Your team will be based in Pakistan, and you should be willing to travel periodically for strategic planning and in-person collaboration.

The role requires a deep understanding of the sales process, from prospecting and qualifying to selling and closing deals. You will be working closely with the sales operations team to ensure that the sales methodologies and CRM alignment are optimized for success. Your experience in leading global commercial sales teams and managing complex deal structures will be invaluable in this position.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of commercial account managers to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Develop and execute account management strategies for existing commercial accounts
  • Collaborate with the sales operations team to optimize sales methodologies and CRM alignment
  • Provide coaching and training to account managers on sales performance and deal execution
  • Manage and expand existing commercial accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Motive's product suite and its applications in various industries
  • Partner with leadership to develop accurate forecasts and identify growth opportunities
  • Step in to support demos and negotiate complex deals as needed
  • Foster a culture of excellence within the team, emphasizing the importance of discipline, creativity, and customer satisfaction

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of international sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in the US market
  • 2+ years of proven success in sales leadership, preferably in a tech or product-focused environment
  • A strong track record in B2B sales with moderate to complex deal structures
  • Exceptional contractual and negotiation skills, effective at mid-tier transaction sizes
  • Proficiency in pipeline management and holding teams accountable for accurate forecasting
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience in motivating and directing diverse commercial teams
  • A resourceful mentality, adept at thriving in fast-paced and ambiguous market conditions
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with CRM software
