About the Role
The Senior Manager - Analytics Data Platform role at Arity is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical, business, and leadership skills. As a key member of the Arity team, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of cloud-based big data systems, driving the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation plan to continuously modernize the analytics data and model management platform. Your expertise in cloud computing, data security, and model management will be essential in ensuring the success of this effort.The role entails working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop solutions, and implement best practices. Your team will be responsible for managing and developing the Analytics Data Platform, driving technical excellence, and ensuring that the platform is secure, scalable, and efficient. You will also be responsible for recruiting, selecting, mentoring, and developing team members, as well as setting the strategic direction for the team in support of the business objectives of the company.

What You Will Do
- Lead the development and management of cloud-based big data systems for ingesting, processing, and managing spatial-temporal and other types of data for analytics R&D
- Implement and operationalize advanced data processing pipelines and AI solutions
- Identify and integrate new data management and data analytics tools, ensuring best practices in their usage
- Establish and administer MLOps best practices in collaboration with Arity Engineering
- Manage and develop the Analytics Data Platform team, driving technical excellence and strategic direction
- Drive the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation plan to continuously modernize the analytics data and model management platform
- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards
- Engineer secure app patterns into cloud platforms
- Use knowledge of cloud design patterns, cloud operations, and cloud cost models to identify and address performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement optimizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop solutions, and implement best practices
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with expertise in cloud design patterns, cloud operations, and cloud cost models
- Strong technical skills in data management, data analytics, and machine learning
- Experience with big data systems, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Expertise in data security, governance, and compliance
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in recruiting, selecting, mentoring, and developing team members
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong business acumen, with experience in driving strategic direction and business growth
