The Senior Manager of Clinical Biomarker Operations plays a pivotal role in advancing Apogee Therapeutics' novel biologics. What You Will Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive biomarker strategies across multiple clinical trials to support the development of Apogee Therapeutics' novel biologics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and Translational Medicine, to ensure the effective integration of biomarker data into clinical trial design and execution.
- Manage and oversee the conduct of biomarker analyses, including the selection and validation of biomarker assays, data management, and statistical analysis.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with biomarker operations, developing contingency plans as necessary to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in biomarker technology and methodology, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in biomarker operations.
- Develop and manage budgets for biomarker operations, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Lead and manage a team of biomarker professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure the successful execution of biomarker operations.
- Foster and maintain relationships with external partners, including contract research organizations (CROs) and academic institutions, to leverage expertise and resources in biomarker development and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of regulatory submissions, including clinical study reports and marketing authorization applications, to support the approval of Apogee Therapeutics' novel biologics.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in biomarker operations or a related field, with a strong background in clinical trial management and biomarker development.
- A bachelor's degree in a life science or related field; advanced degrees (MS or Ph.D.) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing and overseeing biomarker operations, including the development and implementation of biomarker strategies and the management of biomarker data.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design, conduct, and regulatory requirements, including GCP and ICH guidelines.
- Experience with biomarker assay development and validation, including molecular and immunological techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop innovative solutions to challenges.
