## About the Role The Senior Manager, Compliance Product Data role at Coinbase represents a unique opportunity to lead the development of the company's compliance data function from the ground up. As a key member of the Compliance Product, Strategic Programs, and Data organization, you will serve as a 'player-coach,' guiding the design and implementation of the end-to-end compliance data risk framework. Your expertise in data analysis, combined with your ability to collaborate with Engineering and Compliance teams, will be crucial in driving the success of this initiative. The role is situated at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Compliance, requiring a deep understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects of the fintech industry. Your ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent will be essential in driving the growth and success of the compliance data function. ## What You Will Do - Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end Compliance data risk framework, addressing Data Quality, Usage Risk, and Lineage Risk.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data lineage, ensuring full transparency from the point of data generation to regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with senior engineering stakeholders to ensure data integrity is a foundational component of technical design.
• Serve as the final authority on formal data contracts between Producers (Engineering) and Consumers (Compliance, CX, IOS), defining robust control requirements and change management protocols.
• Drive the development of the data roadmap, acting as a strategic bridge between Compliance SMEs and Engineering leadership.
• Guide your team in prioritizing high-materiality data elements that drive systemic change and data ownership, adopting a risk-based strategy.
• Oversee the system-of-capture lineage, maintaining comprehensive data lineage and ensuring full transparency.
• Provide world-class leadership for the Compliance data product suite, covering Customer Risk Scoring, Transaction Monitoring, AML, Screening, and Sanctions.
• Build, lead, and develop a team of Data Product Managers/Analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
