About the Role
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Sales Engineering at Fivetran is a strategic leadership role that oversees a team of sales engineers responsible for driving technical wins and revenue growth. As a key member of the sales engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue growth, while also ensuring that your team is equipped to provide timely and accurate technical leadership in the sales process. You will be working closely with the Director of Sales Engineering, EMEA, and will be based remotely in France, with the option to work from Ireland or the UK.Fivetran is a company that is passionate about making access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. The sales engineering team at Fivetran is responsible for achieving the technical win in interactions with technical and business stakeholders across multiple verticals. As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for adopting and optimizing the Fivetran playbook to maximize revenue growth, while also partnering closely with account executives, account management, marketing, and partner alliances.
What You Will Do
- Implement and optimize strategies to maximize revenue growth
- Ensure that direct reports are providing timely and accurate technical leadership in the sales process
- Coach team members to maximize performance and prepare them for future roles
- Affirm that the team is documenting opportunities to drive prospect engagements and communicating effectively within the team
- Be driven by data and affirm that the team is capturing data for continuous forecast improvement
- Help the team win technically within key accounts
- Collaborate with sales leadership on strategies and tactics to win new and maintain customers
- Communicate with leadership and the sales leadership team the progression of opportunities and forecast technical wins
- Meet all defined goals and metrics
- Communicate and present complex solutions to C-level executives
- Provide market feedback to the management team to optimize sales strategy and positioning
- Be an escalation point for key deals in the pre-sales process
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in sales engineering leadership, preferably in the tech industry
- Strong technical skills and ability to understand complex data integration concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in driving revenue growth and maximizing sales performance
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work remotely and manage a distributed team
- Experience in partnering with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate team members
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
