About the Role
As a Senior Manager of Enterprise Sales Engineering at Fivetran, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled sales engineers who specialize in achieving technical wins with key accounts. Your team will work closely with Fivetran's Account Executives, Account Management, Marketing, and Partner Alliances to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market share. You will be the driving force behind the development and execution of sales strategies, ensuring that your team is equipped to provide exceptional technical leadership and support to customers.The role is based remotely in Ireland, EMEA, and you will report directly to the Director of Sales Engineering. As a seasoned leader, you will be expected to coach and develop your team members, helping them to maximize their performance and prepare for future roles.

What You Will Do
- Implement and optimize strategies to maximize revenue growth and drive technical wins
- Ensure that your team is providing timely and accurate technical leadership in the sales process
- Coach and develop team members to maximize performance and prepare them for future roles
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership on strategies and tactics to win new and maintain existing customers
- Communicate with your leadership and the sales leadership team the progression of opportunities and forecast technical wins
- Meet all defined goals and metrics, including revenue targets and customer satisfaction scores
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with technology and implementation partners to accelerate market share capture and joint success
- Provide market feedback to the management team to optimize sales strategy and positioning
- Be an escalation point for key deals in the pre-sales process, providing technical expertise and support as needed
- Develop and deliver complex solutions to C-level executives, showcasing the value of Fivetran's products and services
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and technical wins
- Strong technical expertise, with experience in data integration, cloud computing, and software development
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
- Experience with sales engineering tools and technologies, such as CRM, sales automation, and data analytics platforms
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the EMEA region, with a strong understanding of the local market and customer needs
- Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and partners across the region
- Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
