About the Role
The Senior Manager, Equity Administration will play a critical role in overseeing the company's global equity programs, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and scalability. This role will sit within the Finance organization and partner closely with Legal, People, and external vendors to manage all aspects of the equity lifecycle. As a subject-matter expert in stock administration, the successful candidate will own the processes that support the equity platform, financial reporting, and employee experience.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of equity management platforms, GAAP accounting for equity compensation, and U.S. tax and securities regulations related to equity compensation. With a strong attention to detail and analytical rigor, the Senior Manager, Equity Administration will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data in the equity management system.

What You Will Do
- Own daily administration of the company's equity plans, including stock option grants, RSUs, exercises, repurchases, and cancellations
- Partner with People Operations to support onboarding, offboarding, and employee communications related to equity
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of data in the equity management system (Shareworks)
- Assist the accounting team with valuation of awards in Shareworks, as well as other complex equity transactions
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on equity-related matters
- Support employee education around equity to enhance understanding and engagement
- Respond to incoming requests and coordinate cross-functionally to answer employee questions
- Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting for equity transactions
- Manage the company's equity budget and forecasting
What We Are Looking For
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in equity administration, ideally at least 2 years in a manager-level or lead role
- Deep expertise in equity management platforms (Shareworks preferred) and familiarity with GAAP accounting for equity compensation
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax and securities regulations related to equity compensation (including 409A, taxation on equity)
- High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and process orientation
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across Finance, Legal, and People teams
- Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

- Experience in a pre-IPO or hyper-growth tech company environment
- Experience with Shareworks and Workday
- Familiarity with global equity programs and expansion outside of the US (ESPP, RSU)
- Experience with complex equity transactions such as tender offers, secondary sales, and repurchases
