Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy - Deal Desk

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial modeling, data analysis, and cross-functional partnership. They will be able to develop and own financial models, analyze trends and risks, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. This role will also work closely with the Business Development, Sales, Account Managers, Strategy & Operations, Product GMs, Accounting, and Finance teams to support strategic business and financial decisions.

What You Will Do

• Develop and own financial models to support business decisions and drive growth
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic business plans
• Analyze operational and financial data to uncover trends and assess risks and opportunities
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on commercial agreements and GTM strategies
• Support the development of new processes and policies to drive business growth and profitability
• Collaborate with Sales teams to provide GTM support for new restaurant merchant deals and renegotiations
• Work with the Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including restaurant merchants, sales teams, and cross-functional partners
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and profitability

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners at all levels
• Experience with data analysis and trend identification
• Strong communication and partnership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Basic SQL proficiency or strong willingness to learn
• Experience with financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
• Strong understanding of business operations and financial principles

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Certification in financial planning and analysis, such as FP&A or CFA
