About the Role

The Senior Manager, HR Technology role at Labcorp is a dynamic and challenging position that requires deep technical expertise in Workday PATT and leadership capabilities to manage a team of Analysts and Solutions Managers. As a key member of the HR Technology team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving business growth through the effective use of Workday PATT.

The role entails working closely with partners in payroll, HR, and Finance to address complex business issues and develop long-term solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration experience of Workday for a large-scale global environment and will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.

The team context is fast-paced and collaborative, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. The reporting structure is currently unclear, but the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage future state design and process improvement projects focused on PATT (Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking) business functions to design, architect, troubleshoot, and maintain Workday configuration
  • Advise key stakeholders and partners on Workday PATT functionalities, providing technical support and best practice suggestions for configuration
  • Own and design system requirements and supporting business process changes by conducting gap analysis between business needs and Workday capabilities
  • Collaborate with People Services, Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards/Benefits teams to lead complex quarterly and cyclical projects
  • Support payroll-impacting configuration changes made across other HR Tech workstreams
  • Serve as workstream lead for Workday upgrades, collaborating with other HR functions to plan for upgrade, build test scripts, and deploy new functionality
  • Work with M&A Lead to support new business acquisitions and ensure successful integration into payroll system
  • Lead and perform Workday application control reviews and risk assessments to ensure compliance
