About the Role
BambooHR is poised to revolutionize the EMEA market with its innovative approach to human resources management. As a Senior Manager of International Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth strategy, working closely with the Director of EMEA Marketing and cross-functional teams to build a high-impact go-to-market engine. Your expertise in sales motion planning, team development, and market analysis will be crucial in establishing a scalable and repeatable sales model tailored to European markets.Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with the US-based deal desk team to support deal structuring, pricing, and contract execution. You will also engage with BambooHR's partner ecosystem in EMEA to create a holistic customer value proposition, driving incremental demand generation and acting as a cultural and operational bridge between the EMEA market and US leadership.
As a seasoned sales leader, you will be responsible for defining how BambooHR wins in EMEA, translating the company's proven US playbook into a regionally relevant model. Your success will be measured by your ability to build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of account executives and sales development representatives.
What You Will Do
- Shape and execute the go-to-market EMEA strategy for BambooHR, establishing the foundation for scalable growth across the region
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of account executives and sales development representatives
- Design and implement core operating rhythms, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
- Translate BambooHR's US sales motion into a repeatable, regionally relevant model across key European markets
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, Enablement, Product, and Customer Success to drive alignment and results
- Partner closely with the US-based deal desk, legal, and finance teams to support deal structuring, pricing, and contract execution
- Ensure smooth handoff and coordination for contract negotiation and closure, maintaining strong visibility and ownership of deal progress through to completion
- Engage and develop BambooHR's partner ecosystem in EMEA to create a holistic customer value proposition and drive incremental demand generation
- Act as a cultural and operational bridge between the EMEA market and BambooHR US leadership, representing regional needs while maintaining strong global alignment
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the software or technology industry
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in international markets
- Strong understanding of sales motion planning, team development, and market analysis
- Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills, with experience working with US-based teams
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for sales meetings, conferences, and team events
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales deals
Nice to Have
- Experience with sales enablement tools, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Knowledge of the EMEA market, including cultural and regulatory nuances
- Fluency in multiple European languages, with English being the primary language
- Experience with data-driven sales strategies and sales analytics tools
