About the Role

The Senior Manager, Talent Management at Dropbox is a critical role that will help shape the company's approach to talent processes. As a key member of the Talent Management team, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing talent management practices that drive innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence. This role will partner closely with the VP of Learning and Development, Director of Learning, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to drive talent management strategy.

The Talent Management team at Dropbox is responsible for performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and career management. This role will help reimagine and improve these practices with a focus on innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and strong operator with experience in talent management and organizational development.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement talent management practices that drive innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence
  • Partner with the VP of Learning and Development, Director of Learning, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to drive talent management strategy
  • Lead performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and career management initiatives
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform talent management decisions and drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement talent management programs
  • Develop and manage talent management budgets and resource allocation
  • Provide coaching and guidance to HR Business Partners and other stakeholders on talent management best practices
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent management and organizational development

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in talent management, organizational development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing talent management practices that drive business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles, including performance management, succession planning, and career development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to inform talent management decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with HR systems and tools, including HRIS, performance management software, and talent management platforms
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the business implications of talent management decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with organizational design and development, including restructuring and change management
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in talent management and HR
  • Experience with talent management in a remote or distributed work environment
  • Certification in talent management or a related field, such as SHRM or HRCI
