About the Role
The Senior Manager, Training and Quality, is a pivotal position at LexisNexis, focused on shaping the future of content creation and assurance through AI-first strategies. This role is at the heart of Global Editorial Operations, responsible for producing, managing, and delivering content that powers LexisNexis products and customer experiences. The successful candidate will lead the evolution of both training and quality assurance functions towards an AI-first operating model, introducing AI into training delivery and quality measurement.In this context, the role involves partnering closely with editorial leaders and analytics partners to ground decisions in clear, credible data. The goal is to simplify and standardize team workflows, strengthen the durability of materials and know-how, and shape the roles and capabilities these functions will need going forward. Success in this role means moving both functions beyond measuring activity toward demonstrating impact, connecting training effectiveness and editorial quality to on-the-job performance, content accuracy, and customer outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Lead the redesign of the training operating model from predominantly manual, instructor-led delivery toward scalable, AI-enabled learning.
- De-risk single-point-of-failure roles by externalizing siloed knowledge into documented, AI-ingestible assets.
- Lead the redesign of the editorial Quality Management System, including QA frameworks, sampling, scoring standards, calibration, and feedback loops.
- Optimize for AI-assisted quality auditing using defensible methods such as rubrics, thresholds, and error taxonomies.
- Build measurement systems that move beyond activity and satisfaction toward application and business outcomes.
- Partner with the Content Performance Analyst to measure and track time-to-proficiency, post-training quality and accuracy, and AI-assisted versus unassisted performance.
- Build strong relationships with editorial leadership, cross-functional partners, and vendors.
- Communicate strategic plans and progress to stakeholders.
- Lead a globally distributed team through meaningful change.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in leading training and quality functions, preferably in a content creation or similar environment.
- Strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and AI-driven training methodologies.
- Expertise in Excel and experience with Adjust or similar analytics tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a global team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform strategic decisions.
- Experience in quality management systems and AI-assisted quality auditing.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, communications, or business administration.
