About the Role
The Senior Manager, Web Strategy role at Motive is a critical position that will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth objectives. As a member of the growth marketing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing web strategies that align with the company's project goals. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, engineering, creative, and product teams, to create site experiences that deliver accurate messaging, timing, and capabilities.The growth marketing team at Motive is responsible for maximizing growth and new customer acquisition across all aspects of the business. The team's responsibilities span the entire customer journey, from first touchpoint to upsell and retention. As such, the Senior Manager, Web Strategy will be expected to work closely with the team to ensure that all web strategies are aligned with the company's overall growth objectives.

What You Will Do
- Lead the development and execution of web strategies that align with the company's project goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, engineering, creative, and product teams, to create site experiences for campaigns, product initiatives, tests, and always-on programs
- Operate as a player/coach, managing a small team while owning your own projects end-to-end
- Analyze and monitor page performance and user behavior across site landing pages, generating data-driven hypotheses that inform strategies and uncover areas of opportunity to improve the customer experience
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's members and site visitors through data, insights, and cross-functional partnerships
- Collaborate with the Content Marketing team on SEO initiatives and content opportunities that improve website visibility and performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the company's web strategies
- Work closely with the growth marketing team to ensure that all web strategies are aligned with the company's overall growth objectives
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's website, including its architecture, content, and user experience
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve the customer experience, developing and implementing strategies to address these areas
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of website management and strategy experience
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience using data and insights to inform requirements, ideas, and strategies
- Hands-on experience with web tools, including CMS (WordPress), A/B testing tools, site analytics, and other business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated understanding of SEO fundamentals and the interaction between site architecture and content to deliver organic traffic performance
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from strategy to execution
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders on outcomes and recommendations
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, staying proactive and innovative in the ever-evolving landscape
- AI-first approach to solving problems, building solutions, and improving workflows
- Familiarity with AI tools and AI agents
Nice to Have
- Experience managing an international multi-site environment from the ground up
- Familiarity with Excel and other data analysis tools
- Experience working in a growth marketing team, with a focus on maximizing growth and new customer acquisition
