About the Role
The Senior Meta Strategist position at Directive is a critical role that involves overseeing and leading a collection of social media accounts, serving as direct support to client contacts, and building strategies for clients each quarter. This role is central to Directive's mission to deliver impactful B2B marketing solutions, and the successful candidate will be expected to drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional networks. As part of the Performance division, this role will work closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved.Day-to-day, this role will involve managing paid media campaigns, analyzing campaign performance data, and optimizing budgets to maximize ROI. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of client positioning and unique value propositions, as well as the ability to create and maintain accurate lead routing within a CRM. This role will also involve working directly with vendors and operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and areas for improvement.

What You Will Do
- Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives
- Serve as direct support to client contacts, providing timely and effective communication
- Build strategies for clients each quarter, leveraging expertise in paid social advertising and analytics
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns to maximize ROI
- Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions to inform campaign strategies
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM, ensuring seamless handoff to sales teams
- Work directly with vendors and operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and areas for improvement
- Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel to make data-driven decisions
- Develop and execute advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting
- Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional networks
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
- Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads
- Understanding of different ad units within the LinkedIn or Meta platform, such as conversation ads, document ads, and CTV
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, and 6Sense
- Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
- Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
Nice to Have
- Experience with Programmatic campaigns and the ability to understand the value of these campaigns
- Knowledge of CRM systems and lead routing processes
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
