About the Role
The Senior Meta Strategist role at Directive is a critical position that involves overseeing and leading a collection of social media accounts, serving as direct support to client contacts, and communicating with internal stakeholders to execute paid social deliverables. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building high-performing paid strategies for B2B businesses across various markets, including Technology, Industrial, and Services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing campaign execution, analyzing performance data, and optimizing for maximum ROI.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads, as well as experience with programmatic campaigns. You will work closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved, and drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional networks.
Directive operates through three divisions: Performance, Communications, and Commerce, each built to share intelligence and align on revenue. The company's methodology, DiscoverabilityOS, aligns brand and demand to guide the ideal customer profile to choose Directive's clients across every decision point.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts, including LinkedIn and Meta
- Serve as direct support to client contacts, providing regular updates and insights
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to execute paid social deliverables
- Build and manage custom client strategies, including quarterly plans and budgets
- Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
- Optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, including ad copywriting, targeting, and bid management
- Understand client positioning and unique value propositions, and develop strategies to leverage these
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM, and ensure seamless data flow
- Work directly with Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved
- Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional networks
- Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
- Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads
- Understanding of different Ad Units within the LinkedIn or Meta Platform, including conversation ads, document ads, and CTV
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Meta Campaign Manager
- Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
- Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
Nice to Have
- Experience with programmatic campaigns and programmatic advertising platforms
- Knowledge of Zoominfo, 6Sense, and other B2B marketing tools
- Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant platforms
- Experience with CRM systems and data management
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and strategies
