About the Role

The Senior Named Account Executive position at Cloudflare represents a unique opportunity to be at the helm of driving Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for some of North America's largest companies. This role is not just about managing a portfolio of accounts but about shaping and leading Cloudflare's approach to these strategic partnerships. Day-to-day, you will be interfacing with C-level clients and senior technical decision-makers, leveraging Cloudflare's suite of solutions to drive business partnerships focused on mutual success. The role demands a deep understanding of the digital transformation landscape and the ability to articulate Cloudflare's vision and value proposition to disparate stakeholders.

As part of Cloudflare's Enterprise Account team, you will be working closely with a cross-functional group of stakeholders, including sales, product, and technical teams, to develop and execute tailored solutions for your clients. This collaborative environment requires not only exceptional sales and customer service skills but also the ability to lead and coordinate efforts across different teams. Your success will be measured by your ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, develop and execute account plans, and drive revenue growth.

The role is based in Las Vegas, NV, but as a remote position, it offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, provided you are willing to accommodate the demands of managing a portfolio of high-profile clients across different time zones.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and manage a set of ~20-30 strategic accounts with annual revenues ranging from
    B to $25B.
  • Engage with C-level executives and senior technical decision-makers to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for Cloudflare's solutions.
  • Collaborate with Cloudflare's internal teams to develop and propose customized solutions that meet the complex needs of your clients.
  • Negotiate and close significant revenue deals, ensuring win-win outcomes for both Cloudflare and its clients.
  • Conduct business-level discussions with clients, articulating Cloudflare's vision and value proposition.
  • Develop and execute detailed account plans to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Provide feedback to Cloudflare's product and engineering teams to help shape the company's product roadmap.
  • Work closely with the sales engineering team to develop and deliver technical presentations and product demos.
  • Participate in the development of sales strategies and tactics to drive success in the North American market.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a similar GTM or account management role, with a focus on digital transformation and cloud-based solutions.
  • A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in managing large, complex accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and senior technical decision-makers, with a strong understanding of their business challenges and needs.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, cybersecurity, and digital transformation technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Computer Science.
