About the Role
As a senior network security engineer at Anduril, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced security architecture to protect the company's global network. This role requires a deep understanding of network design principles, cloud security, and AI-powered systems. What You Will Do
- Architect and implement defensive security controls for cloud, production, and corporate environments
- Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network security tools
- Build systems to support automation, visibility, and threat detection for efforts across various information security and infrastructure teams
- Independently drive network security initiatives and foster a security-first mindset across the organization
- Work closely with Network, Infrastructure, and other partner teams to review designs and use-cases, ensuring that networks are secure by design
- Develop and implement network-based defensive controls in corporate and industrial production environments
- Collaborate with incident response teams to respond to security incidents and implement mitigating controls
- Participate in the development of security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve the company's security posture
What We Are Looking For
- Experience with routing, switching, and network design principles
- Knowledge of modern adversary tradecraft and mitigating controls
- Experience with programming in one or more general-purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc.)
- Familiarity with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacity
- Experience developing and implementing network-based defensive controls in corporate and industrial production environments
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects
- Participation in or support of incident response events
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
Nice to Have
- Experience building bespoke solutions in high-growth, high-complexity network environments
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and tooling
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems
