About the Role
As a Senior Oncology Specialist at Amgen, you will be the primary customer contact for medical professionals, providing current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products. What You Will Do
- Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan to achieve sales targets
- Deliver branded sales messages to medical professionals and hospitals
- Execute planned programs to promote Amgen's products
- Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis
- Develop territory plans with the District Manager
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts
- Ensure product access and resolve reimbursement issues
- Maintain product contracts and negotiate with customers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical data and research in oncology
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Strong knowledge of oncology and the latest clinical data and research
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with sales force automation tools and software
- Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field
