About the Role
The Senior Operations Account Manager is a critical role at syncreon, responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for customers and driving business performance through data-driven decision making. As a key member of the operations team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build strong relationships with customers, identify opportunities for growth, and drive profitability.In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily customer account management matters, building trusted relationships with customer representatives, and supporting the Account Director in preparing pricing, cost estimates, and proposals. You will also conduct regular analysis of pricing, cost, and profitability, and communicate changes to the appropriate teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, manufacturing, and/or repair services, with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be able to interpret data, derive solid conclusions, and create structure and organization within a fast-moving environment.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the front-line point of contact for customers, representing syncreon in daily account management matters
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customer representatives from operations, engineering, quality, procurement, and other teams
- Support the Account Director in preparing pricing, cost estimates, proposals, and commercial-related documents
- Conduct regular analysis of pricing, cost, and profitability, and communicate changes to the appropriate teams
- Forecast and track key account metrics, and clearly communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for growth and work with the Account Director to explore new business initiatives
- Monitor important contractual KPIs and report on a regular basis
- Support the preparation of presentations for weekly and monthly business reviews
- Present commercial topics during business reviews
- Raise Change Request Forms (CRF), push for approval, and keep up-to-date tracking of all CRF history
What We Are Looking For
- Technical or commercial-related credentials from a university or college, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience in account management, including the use of pricing templates, cost databases, and other supporting tools
- Excellent knowledge of logistics, manufacturing, and/or repair services, especially in the technology sector
- Strong understanding of production and logistics processes and their costs
- Effective interpersonal skills, with both oral and written communication proficiency
- Ability to empathize and understand client viewpoints and requirements, and act as their champion within syncreon's internal organization
- Ability to interpret data and derive solid conclusions from analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of business ethics and culture
