About the Role
The Senior Oracle Database Developer position at goPro Consultancy Group ltd. represents a pivotal role in the company's ongoing efforts to support international institutions through advanced database management and development. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software systems that meet the highest standards of functionality and performance. The role is full-time and can be performed remotely, offering the ideal candidate a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects from anywhere in the United States.Day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborative work with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues, as well as independent project work to design and develop new database systems and applications. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as the Senior Oracle Database Developer will be required to provide support and training to junior team members and work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and implement software systems for identity management and related systems
- Code, test, and debug new and existing software to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop, support, and manage master data management ETL in Informatica, PL/SQL, and Azure Data Factory for identity information
- Provide T3 support for identity management, including data investigations, ad hoc and bulk data corrections, queries, and manual updates
- Cover and supplement T2 support as needed
- Provide T3 support for Windows Active Directory user management
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for database systems and applications
- Participate in the planning and implementation of database security and backup procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in database management and development
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle DB, Oracle PL/SQL, and related technologies
- Experience with Java, COSMOS DB, MS SQL, Dot Net, Azure, ETL, data modeling, application development, testing, and DevOps
- Good working knowledge of Informatica and Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to define requirements, resolve ambiguity, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with international institutions or large-scale database systems is an asset
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based database management systems, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in Oracle DB or related technologies
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
