About the Role
The Senior Oracle Database Developer role is a full-time, remote position that requires a high level of expertise in Oracle database development. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and implementing software systems for identity management and related systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing, testing, and debugging new and existing software, as well as providing support and management for master data management ETL.The role is part of a long-term project with an international institution, and you will be working closely with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality results. You will need to be self-motivated, able to define requirements, and resolve ambiguity to achieve results. Your expertise in Oracle DB, Oracle PL/SQL, and Java will be essential in this role.
What You Will Do
- Develop, design, modify, and implement software systems for identity management and related systems
- Code, test, and debug new and existing software per functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop, support, and manage master data management ETL in Informatica, PL/SQL, and Azure Data Factory for identity information
- Provide T3 support for identity management, including data investigations, ad hoc and bulk data corrections, queries, and manual updates
- Cover and supplement T2 support as needed
- Provide T3 support for Windows Active Directory user management
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality results
- Participate in Agile development methodologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle DB, Oracle PL/SQL, and Java
- Experience with COSMOS DB, MS SQL, Dot Net, Azure, ETL, data modeling, application development, and testing
- Good working knowledge of Informatica and Azure Data Factory
- Good organization and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and define requirements
- Fluency in English
- Experience with DevOps and Agile development methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
