Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Paid Media Strategist role at Directive is a critical position that involves overseeing and leading a collection of paid media accounts for B2B SaaS clients. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and managing custom client strategies, communicating with clients and internal stakeholders, and driving referrals through client relationships and professional networks. You will work closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved.

The role requires a deep understanding of paid search and social advertising, as well as experience working with B2B SaaS clients. You will be responsible for building strategies for clients each quarter, creating and maintaining budgets for paid media campaigns, and optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and lead a collection of paid media accounts for B2B SaaS clients
  • Create and manage custom client strategies to drive results and meet client goals
  • Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive referrals
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter, focusing on paid search and social advertising
  • Create and maintain budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels
  • Optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, using tools like Google Analytics and GA4
  • Work closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved
  • Execute and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Analyze campaign performance data to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaign performance
  • Drive referrals via client relationships and professional networks
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns and how to optimize them

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency
  • Experience working specifically with B2B SaaS clients in an agency setting
  • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
  • Ability to drive results and measure success via OCT
  • Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • A unique perspective on how to drive value for SaaS clients
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Equal parts competitive and curious, with a desire to stay ahead of industry trends

  • Experience working with Programmatic campaigns and optimizing them for maximum ROI
  • Knowledge of AI and automation and how they can enhance marketing and operations
  • Experience working with CRM systems and optimizing lead routing
