About the Role
As a Senior Partner Manager - Alliances at Datadog, you will be at the forefront of driving cloud partnerships and revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on leading joint go-to-market initiatives, deepening technical integrations, and maximizing revenue opportunities through programs and sales motions. You will work closely with key cloud providers and internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to develop and launch integrated solutions, campaigns, and enablement programs.The role requires a highly strategic and execution-focused leader with a deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem, cloud technologies, and partner management. You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of joint business plans, identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities, and ensuring technical alignment with cloud services.
What You Will Do
- Drive revenue growth through joint business opportunities, including marketplace transactions, co-selling initiatives, and cloud funding programs
- Collaborate with cloud providers and internal teams to develop and launch integrated solutions, campaigns, and enablement programs
- Work closely with Datadog's product and engineering teams to promote cloud integrations and ensure technical alignment with cloud services
- Train and support Datadog's sales teams on cloud partnership benefits, co-sell motions, and marketplace offerings
- Track partnership performance using key metrics and continuously refine strategy to maximize impact
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cloud providers, sales teams, and product managers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive partnership growth
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales pipelines to ensure accurate planning and execution
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in partner-facing business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a cloud services or software as a service organization
- Skilled in driving sales, partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to others verbally and in writing
- Experience working with cloud alliances and tech alliances (other ISVs) is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical information
- Strong business development and sales skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities
- Experience with GTM strategies and sales plays is required
Nice to Have
- Experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks
- Experience with data analytics and sales analytics tools
- Certification in cloud computing or a related field
