About the Role

As a Senior Partner Operations Change Management Strategist at Mercury, you will be responsible for developing and implementing change management processes that enable the company to launch new products and features seamlessly. This role requires a deep understanding of banking operations, partner relationships, and change management principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, risk, compliance, and legal, to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the change management process.

The Senior Partner Operations Change Management Strategist will play a critical role in maintaining Mercury's strong relationships with its banking partners. This involves building trust, fostering open communication, and ensuring that all partners are informed and engaged throughout the change management process. Your expertise in change management will enable Mercury to launch new products and features quickly and efficiently, while minimizing disruptions to its partners and customers.

Mercury's partner operations team is responsible for maintaining the company's external relationships and streamlining its collective workflows to keep customers, partners, and employees happy. As a Senior Partner Operations Change Management Strategist, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with other team members to ensure that all processes and systems are aligned and effective.

What You Will Do

  • Own, mature, expand, and operate Mercury's existing change management processes with internal teams and banking partners
  • Support day-to-day relationship management with Mercury's bank partners related to new feature and product launches
  • Help build the knowledge base for how Mercury's partnerships work and develop a framework for internal teams to support new feature development
  • Onboard and train Mercury employees on any external tools or dashboards they need to work with partners
  • Work with risk and compliance to create reporting and feedback processes that can scale alongside product development
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to launch features and grow existing programs
  • Work with marketing to track changes and deliver roadmaps to external stakeholders
  • Get exposure to various teams at Mercury, including audit, legal, and product
  • Help Mercury's partnerships team strategically grow the company's network of financial relationships and deepen existing programs

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services or banking operations, with at least 3 years supporting bank partnerships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative and empathetic, with a strong understanding of partner expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong product sense and technical inclination, with experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with change management processes and principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
