About the Role
As a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer at Akamai, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth through channel sales and evangelizing cutting-edge products to partners. You will work closely with the Latin America Presales team to develop and sell Enterprise Security, Segmentation, and Application Access products, helping to implement Zero Trust architecture and intelligent network segmentation. You will work with channel partners to define solutions and go-to-market sales motions, serving as both a trusted advisor and technical expert. Your expertise will be crucial in driving partner-sourced opportunities and positioning Akamai's market differentiations through partners.
What You Will Do
- Support channel sales teams to grow topline revenue through channel partners nationally and regionally
- Customize resources to drive partner-sourced opportunities and position Akamai's market differentiations through partners
- Represent the needs of partners with product teams, marketing, services, and support to drive partner success
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to partners and customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies and optimize partner engagement
- Provide technical guidance and support to partners and customers to ensure successful implementation of Akamai products
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and customers to drive long-term growth and revenue
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Participate in sales calls and meetings to provide technical expertise and support
What We Are Looking For
- 8 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing technical channel sales or presales role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
- Comprehensive understanding of the internet, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL protocols
- Technical knowledge of IDP systems, including AD, LDAP, SAML, etc.
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English
- Experience presenting technical topics to diverse audiences
- Strong understanding of cloud and edge computing, security, and content delivery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Akamai products or similar technologies
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and their applications
- Certification in cloud or cybersecurity technologies
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
