About the Role
The Senior People Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the high-performance culture of ENSEK, focusing on empowering leaders and shaping a People experience that aligns with the company's rapid transformation. This involves building and maintaining modern, automation-first People Ops processes that harness the power of data, AI, and smart workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce friction, and elevate the employee journey. The role is critical in supporting ENSEK's international expansion and its mission to transform how energy retailers operate.As part of the People Operations team, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering a first-class service, continually improving processes, policies, systems, and ways of working. This role requires a deep understanding of what drives a high-performing team and the ability to coach, develop, and drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.

What You Will Do
- Deliver a first-class People Operations service by continually improving processes, policies, systems, and ways of working.
- Lead a high-performing People Ops team, coaching, developing, and driving operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.
- Own and optimize HR systems, including HRIS and performance management tools, ensuring strong data integrity, automation, and manager adoption.
- Oversee core People cycles, including performance, development processes, compensation reviews, and payroll execution.
- Act as a point of escalation for employee relations, supporting resolution and guiding managers through complex cases.
- Champion digital transformation and process simplification to remove bureaucracy and improve the employee experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement People Ops processes that support the company's growth and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of employment legislation, risk, and compliance to ensure operational governance and proactive risk management.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the employee journey, informing strategic decisions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience leading a high-performing People Operations team in a scaling technology or SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of building and improving People frameworks across onboarding, performance, reward, and offboarding.
- Strong ER knowledge with the ability to advise and de-escalate complex cases confidently.
- Proficiency with HR systems, data, reporting, and process automation; experience with HRIS and performance tooling preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, risk, compliance, and People-related governance.
- A 'People as a Product' mindset, simplifying processes, removing friction, and designing for scalability.
- Excellent coaching, development, and leadership skills to drive operational excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-native SaaS software and its application in HR processes.
- Knowledge of AI-driven insights and their role in employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with Leapsome or similar performance management tools.
- Certification in HR or a related field, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR.
- Experience working in the energy sector or a related industry.
